Privacy policy

This policy covers galaxywatchfaces.com — the website you are reading. The Galaxy Watch Faces Android app is a separate product with its own data disclosure; see Data safety on its Google Play listing, which is kept current there rather than copied here.

The short version

This site sets no cookies, has no accounts, no sign-up, no newsletter, no forms and no advertising. We cannot identify you and we do not try to. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see which pages are read and which are not. It is cookieless by design: it stores nothing on your device, it does not fingerprint you, and it cannot follow you to other sites. What it records for each page view is the page address, the referring site if there was one, page-loading timings, and general details of your browser and device type.

We look at this in aggregate — which pages get read, which are slow, which watch models people care about. It is not linked to a person and it is not used for advertising.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes your IP address in order to deliver the page to you and to protect the site from attacks and abuse. That processing is Cloudflare's, under their privacy policy. We do not receive, store or analyse those logs.

Images

Watch face previews are served from this site itself, on the same Cloudflare hosting as the page around them. Viewing a page does not make a request to any other company's server, so nothing about your visit is disclosed to a third party in order to show you a watch face.

Links to Google Play

The install buttons take you to Google Play. Those links carry a referrer tag identifying which page of this site sent you — for example utm_content=faq. It tells us that a page led to an install; it says nothing about who you are. Once you are on Google Play you are covered by Google's privacy policy, not this one.

What we never do

  • Sell or share data with data brokers or advertisers. There is nothing to sell.
  • Run third-party advertising or retargeting pixels on this site.
  • Ask for your name, email address or any account details.
  • Store anything in your browser beyond one flag recording that you dismissed the install bar, which stays on your device and is cleared when you close the tab.

Children

This site is a product catalogue and is not directed at children. We knowingly collect no personal information from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Data-protection law gives you rights to access, correct and erase personal data held about you. We hold none that identifies you, so in practice there is nothing to retrieve or delete — but if you believe otherwise, write to [email protected] and we will look into it and answer you.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. A change that actually affects you — a new third-party service, anything that collects more than the above — will be called out on this page rather than folded in quietly.
